Online Therapist for Massachusetts and Vermont

Ilana Marram, LMHC therapist in Massachusetts

Hello, I’m Ilana Marram LMHC (she/her), a licensed neurodivergent therapist providing specialized online therapy to teens and adults across Massachusetts and Vermont.

My practice centers gender-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and ethical non-monogamy/polyamory-affirming care. I work with trans and non-binary individuals, neurodivergent clients navigating ADHD and autism, and their allies.

Maybe you're battling negative thoughts, finding it hard to focus, or feeling like no one really understands what you're going through. Perhaps you’re struggling with your identity, and whether to make the changes you desire.

These struggles can leave you feeling isolated and frustrated. I’m here to offer support, compassion, and strategies to help you find your way to your most authentic self. I help with anxiety, depression, identity exploration, burnout, and many other struggles.

My Values & Approach

I believe therapy should be:

  • Affirming: Your identity, neurotype, and relationship structure are respected — not pathologized.

  • Collaborative: We work together to create strategies that fit your life and strengths.

  • Practical: Therapy addresses real-life challenges, from executive functioning to relationships and self-care.

  • Compassionate: Healing starts with understanding yourself and reducing shame—not “fixing” who you are.

As a neurodivergent therapist myself, as well as strong personal life connections with the trans community, I bring lived experience, deeper understanding, and clinical expertise to every session. This combination allows me to understand the daily realities of masking, burnout, and navigating a world not designed for neurodivergent or gender-diverse people, helping me to create a safe, affirming space for clients.

I also remain mindful of how my other identities — including being a white, cisgender woman living with chronic pain and identifying as secular Jewish — shape my perspective. Ongoing reflection and consultation are essential parts of my ethical practice.
