Hello, I’m Ilana Marram (she/her), a neurodivergent licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts, dedicated to helping you navigate the challenges that life throws your way. Maybe you're battling negative thoughts, finding it hard to focus, or feeling like no one really understands what you're going through. Perhaps you’re struggling with your identity, and whether to make the changes you desire. These struggles can leave you feeling isolated and frustrated, but I’m here to offer support, compassion, and strategies to help you find your way to your most authentic self.

You don’t have to carry these burdens alone, and I’m here to guide you through it. Together, we will work to uncover underlying issues, develop coping skills, and create sustainable change that allows you to regain control over your emotions and life. Whether you're seeking support through your gender journey or want to create a stronger foundation for your mental health, I'm here to help you take the first step toward healing and growth.

I provide gender affirming, neurodiversity affirming, and ethical non-monogamy (ENM)/polyamory affirming therapy. Some of my own identities include cis-woman, white, neurodivergent, secular Jewish, living with chronic pain, and have significant personal life experience with the trans community as well as the other communities I serve. Having lived experience and/or connections to these communities I work with helps me have a more direct understanding of what you might be going through.

If you’re ready to take that step, reach out today. I believe in your ability to heal and look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.

I currently own my own independent private practice, to ensure I am able to 100% help clients the way I feel they need, without bureaucracy standing in the way. I have participated and continue to participate in extensive advanced level trainings, as well as specific agencies, research, and consultation with those of lived experience to actively offer meaningful support to marginalized communities. I’ve worked with the LGBTQ community outside of mental health as well.

Previous Work Experience:

I have been working in the mental health field for over 20 years, it’s been a wild ride! My prior work experience has been Senior Clinician for Outpatient therapy with a special focus in working with the trans/non-binary population for many years. Prior to that I was a Lead Clinician working with marginalized families in crisis for several years. I have also worked with teens in a therapeutic school, as well as teens in inpatient psychiatric hospital. I’ve provided support at Partial Programs, and at a detox center for unhoused population with substance use issues.
