Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy in Massachusetts
Being neurodivergent in a neurotypical society can feel exhausting and isolating, especially in a world that often expects you to think, feel, and function in very specific ways. You may find yourself working twice as hard to stay organized, manage emotions, or communicate clearly, while quietly wondering why it seems easier for everyone else.
Sensory overload, burnout, anxiety, or chronic self-doubt can build over time, particularly if you’ve spent years masking your needs or feeling misunderstood. Neurodiversity affirming therapy can be a space where your experience is not judged or “fixed,” but understood—where you can untangle shame, build self-compassion, and develop strategies that work with your brain rather than against it.
You don’t have to navigate this alone, my support can help you move toward a life that feels more sustainable, authentic, and aligned with who you are.
Being neurodivergent myself, I get it
I understand firsthand what it’s like to move through a world that wasn’t designed for neurodivergent minds — the constant self-monitoring, the overwhelm, the exhaustion of masking, and the quiet question of “Why does this feel so much harder for me?” I bring both clinical training and lived experience into the therapy room.
In our work together, you don’t have to translate yourself or pretend to be someone you’re not. I offer a space where your way of thinking, feeling, and processing is respected — not pathologized. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivity, executive functioning challenges, or burnout from years of trying to fit in, I focus on understanding your nervous system and supporting it rather than fighting against it.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and deeply compassionate. We can work on things that matter in real life: emotional regulation, boundaries, self-trust, relationships, and building systems that actually work for your brain. I don’t believe in forcing clients into rigid frameworks designed for neurotypical people. Instead, we can co-create strategies that are flexible, sustainable, and rooted in your strengths.
Therapy with me is not about fixing you. It’s about helping you understand yourself, reduce shame, and build a life that feels more manageable, authentic, and aligned with who you truly are.
